What Services Should You Offer As a Social Media Manager?

 
 

There are a lot of different services you can offer as a social media manager. The good news is that you don’t have to offer everything. You can focus on a few core services or niche services.

By focusing on specific areas, you can become an expert, build a solid reputation, and focus your marketing efforts on attracting the right types of clients who truly need your help. 

Remember, it's better to be really good at a few things than to try to do too much at once. 

So I created a general list of some in demand services that businesses need help with on a monthly basis.

Basic Social Media Management

As a social media manager, your primary responsibility will be to create and schedule captivating content that resonates with their target audience. You'll also engage with followers, respond to their comments and inquiries, and be your client’s go-to person for building an online community.

Ads Management

You can run Facebook and Instagram Ads for clients. There’s also Tik Tok, Pinterest, Google, Twitter, and any new platform that comes up in the future. You’ll help clients create the images and captions to run ads to, track conversions and sales, manage the ad budget.

Short Form Video

With platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Youtube Shorts, short form videos have taken the social media world by storm. As a social media manager, you'll create short video clips using simple editing tools. You can also upload those videos each month and add appropriate hashtags.

Community Management

Are you a natural at building connections and fostering engagement? Community management might just be your forte! As a social media manager, you'll nurture online communities, moderating discussions, and addressing customer concerns. By creating a sense of belonging and loyalty, you'll help your clients build a loyal fan base.

Podcast Management

As a podcast manager, you'll help your clients launch and manage their own podcasts. From editing and producing episodes to selecting the perfect hosting platform, you'll be their go-to expert. Engaging with listeners, promoting episodes, and analyzing performance metrics are other tasks you can offer on a monthly basis.

YouTube Management

As a social media manager, you'll optimize and organize captivating videos, collaborating with influencers and implementing smart cross-promotion strategies. You'll dive into analytics, deciphering the data to enhance your clients' YouTube success.

Blog Writing Services

If you have a way with words, blogging might be your superpower as a social media manager! By offering blog writing services, you'll help your clients craft captivating content that resonates with their target audience. From developing content strategies to researching and writing engaging blog posts, you'll be their go-to wordsmith. And don't forget about SEO! You'll optimize blog content to boost visibility and drive organic traffic.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Speaking of SEO, it's time to conquer the art of getting noticed in the vast online realm. As a social media manager,you'll learn the ins and outs of search engine optimization. From keyword research and optimization techniques to on-page and off-page strategies, you'll help your clients climb the search rankings.
